J-1 exchange students (students studying at SDSU for only 1 or 2 semesters and hold a J-1 visa) should return to the homepage and select “Exchange Students” from the drop-down list. If you are NOT a J-1 exchange student, you can continue to enroll online using a major credit card or e-check.
All students are required to purchase health insurance before class registration (for continuing students) or before the first day of orientation (for new students).
ID CARDS AND ONLINE ACCOUNT ACCESS WILL BE AVAILABLE ON THE INSURANCE START DATE OR THREE WEEKS AFTER ENROLLMENT, WHICHEVER IS LATER.

Find a Doctor or Hospital
To find your PPO Network List of doctors, Hospitals and Urgent Care Centers click here. Select your college or university, then Select "Find a doctor, hospital or pharmacy" Use this convenient tool to easily locate Aetna participating network providers.
If you have a life threatening emergency, go to the Emergency Room or call 911. The Emergency Room usually sees the most urgent patients first. If it is urgent but not life threatening, you can go to an urgent care center which will usually cost you less money.
