ID Card
ID cards are mailed to new enrollees approximately 3 weeks after you complete your enrollment process. If you had this plan during 2023/24, you will not receive a new ID card unless you request one. Your virtual ID card is also available on the Blue Care Network site approximately 5-7 business days after you complete your enrollment process. To obtain an online ID card:
- You will receive an email from Blue Care Network with your enrollee ID
- After you receive the ID, visit www.bcbsm.com
- Register for an account, or login if you already have an account*
- Once logged into the portal, you can:
- Access your virtual ID card
- View Claims
- Find a provider
- And more

Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan App for Members
The Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan app is available at no cost for most Apple and Android devices through the Apple App Store® and Google Play™.
Downloading the app is easy, search BCBSM in the App Store, or Google Play Store, or text 222764
It connects securely to your health plan information. You can use app to:

· Manage your claims

This plan uses the Blue Care Network of Michigan provider network within the state of Michigan, and uses the Blue Cross and Blue Shield PPO network through the BlueCard program for students traveling outside of Michigan.

The plan includes BlueCard, a program of the Blue Cross and Blue Shield Association. You will have nationwide access to BlueCard Traditional plan physicians and hospitals when traveling outside of Michigan.
*You should always verify the provider is part of the Blue Care Network (BCN) before you receive treatment.
University Health Services
The University Health Service (UHS) is a primary resource for health needs in the Ann Arbor U-M community. Both international students and scholars have access to UHS services, including the primary care clinic, immunizations, nurse advice by phone, pharmacy, eye care clinic and optical shop, mental health and wellbeing services, sexual health services, and more! UHS Nurse Advice by Phone is available at all hours and can help you decide if it is best to go to UHS when it’s open, an urgent care location, or the Emergency Room.
Currently enrolled U-M students on the Ann Arbor campus should visit UHS first.

Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS)
Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS) is free, confidential, and available to currently enrolled students on the Ann Arbor Campus. Their services include brief counseling for individuals, couples and groups; consultation to students; assistance with referrals to community resources; and crisis interventions.
Virtual Care by Teladoc Health
Virtual Care by Teladoc Health® gives you remote access to a network of U.S. board-certified doctors, psychiatrists and licensed therapists all from your smartphone, tablet or computer. Download the Teladoc Health app and set up an account on your mobile device, or use your Blue Cross member account to access Virtual Care on mobile or desktop.

How to update your Demographic Information
To update your demographic information, such as mailing address, email or phone number, please log in to your account at http://jcbins.com/. Once you log in:
· Choose My Account in the upper right-hand corner
· Choose My Details
· Under Contact Info, choose Edit
· Update your information
*Please note, it can take up to 3 weeks for the change to reflect in the insurance company system.
