US INSURANCE HOLDER STUDENTS
SJSU requires all students to have the SJSU school-sponsored student health insurance coverage. This waiver is for approved SJSU students who have been provided this link by their SJSU Advisor. All other students should go to www.jcbins.com to buy insurance.
Once your waiver is approved and you receive your Waiver Confirmation Statement.
You are required to purchase the Supplemental Medical Evacuation and Repatriation benefits.

If you have a life threatening emergency, go to the Emergency Room or call 911. The Emergency Room usually sees the most urgent patients first. If it is urgent but not life threatening, you can go to an urgent care center which will usually cost you less money.

Student Health Center
The Student Health Center provides medical care to students enrolled at SJSU. In addition to treating acute conditions, injuries, and illnesses, the Health Center provides a family planning program and maintains an in-house licensed pharmacy, a physical therapy department, a federally certified high complexity laboratory, and an x-ray department.
